An afternoon and evening of entertainment with lecture, readings and Dinner.

 

The 2012 Milestone Lecture was a wonderful tribute to Charles Dickens.

For those of you who were unable to attend the lecture in person, you can now read the individual contributions from the three speakers:

Professor John Bowen (TH 1977), Professor of Nineteenth-Century Literature at York University

Alison Hennegan, Fellow in English

Dr Jan Schramm, Fellow in English

 

Guests at the lecture also had the opportunity to see the letter that Charles Dickens wrote to his son, Henry Fielding Dickens, while he was a student at Trinity Hall in 1868.
