THA North East Dinner at the Discovery Museum, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Saturday 24 October 2015, 7pm
Cost: £40.00
We are making a limited number of half price tickets available to alumni who matriculated on or after 2005.
We hope this event at another fascinating venue will be as memorable as The Mary Rose, The RGS, The Pump Room at Bath and Lambeth Palace, so book early to avoid disappointment! The Museum is in the centre of Newcastle, 5 minutes walk from Newcastle Central Station and within walking distance of many great hotels. There is also plentiful free parking in the vicinity.
Before dinner we will have access to all the 1st floor galleries with fascinating insights into this great City, its history and its great industrial heritage. The buildings were once the northern headquarters of the Co-operative Wholesale Society and we shall be dining in the magnificent Great Hall under the arched roof built by Dorman Long who were also responsible for the iconic Tyne Bridge.
