Tuesday 17 February
19:00 - 22:00
Students and postdocs are invited to this workshop with Trinity Hall alumna, Alice van Harten (1997, Classics). In the workshop, Alice will discuss how you can build a profile that will help you when recruiting for internships and a full-time job by addressing the question of what activities are valued by employers. She will also explain how you can present your existing profile, both academic and extracurricular, to future employers to maximum effect. Alice will draw on her own experience transitioning from studying Plato in Greek to strategy consulting, and on her experience advising students with a wide range of backgrounds. Tea, coffee and water will be offered. Please join us in the Leslie Stephen Room at 18:55 ready for a prompt 19:00 (GMT) start time.
