THA Regional Event at the Mary Rose, Portsmouth

The Trinity Hall Association invites all alumni together with their guests to a drinks reception and dinner at the Mary Rose. Drinks will be served from 6.30pm during which time you will be given access to the Mary Rose exhibition where there will be guides available to provide information about the collection. Dinner will be served at 8pm in the Admiral's Gallery amongst artefacts which were recovered from the Mary Rose. Here you will also have access to the Bridge Balcony which provides views of the HMS Victory and the historic waterfront. The THA are very much hoping that dinner will be preceded by a talk from Chris Dobbs (1976) who was one of the divers on the wreck and who has been responsible for the interpretation of the ship and its contents in the museum.
The THA hosted dinner at the Mary Rose in 2013 and following such wonderful reviews, we have decided to return. For those of you who joined us previously, the museum underwent a refurbishment towards the end of 2015 during which all the interior walls were removed from the galleries and replaced with panoramic floor to ceiling glass panels which has changed the museum dramatically – greatly enhancing the experience and making a return visit really worthwhile.

Cost: £60 standard or £30 for those who matriculated in 2008 or later (limited number available)
Dress code: Lounge suits/smart casual
Booking information: The cost is £60 per head (subsidised by the THA) however a limited number of half price tickets are available for alumni who matriculated in 2008 or later. The ticket price includes a three course dinner with wine and access to the exhibition and Bridge Balcony. Online booking has now closed.
