In October 1976 the first female graduates and fellows were admitted to Trinity Hall, followed by the first female undergraduates in October 1977. Forty years on, Trinity Hall is hosting a series of special events to mark these milestones. Visit THwomen40 for more information.
Trinity Hall has organized an exciting programme of events taking place from 12 noon on 1 July 2017 including a Panel Discussion '40 years on, have we smashed the glass ceiling?', Anniversary Dinner and a Black & White Ball.

We have also commissioned a bespoke Trinity Hall pendant (solid sterling silver) designed by alumna, Laura Davidson (1998), which is now available to mark this milestone. See more details

12:00 onwards Oral History and Exhibition “Hall Women: A Short History of Women at Trinity Hall”
13:30-14:15 Welcome from the Master and Poster Session in the Lecture Theatre
14:15-15:30 A choice of four tours:
Option 1: Old Library visit ‘Women in Special Collections of Trinity Hall’
Option 2: Garden Tour of Trinity Hall
Option 3: Walking Tour of Cambridge with Angela Carr (1979)
Option 4: Visit to the Genizah exhibition at the University Library
15:30-16:30 Tea and cake served on Latham Lawn
16:30-17:45 Panel Discussion “40 years on, have we smashed the glass ceiling?” in the Lecture Theatre
18:45-19:30 Drinks Reception on Latham Lawn
19:30-22:00 Anniversary Dinner in Hall and the GSR
22:00-01:00 Black & White Ball in the Fellows' Garden
The Aula Bar will be open between 12:00 and 15:00 where refreshments will be available to purchase.

Tickets for the afternoon programme and dinner have now sold out. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please email alumnioffice@trinhall.cam.ac.uk. Tickets are still available for the Black & White Ball. To book online, please click here. The guest list is now available to view online. Please note that login to THalumni.net is required. Only TH members will appear on the guest list.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be available for the night of Saturday 1 July, and you can choose from single rooms on Central Site (£40 B&B); single ensuite rooms at Wychfield (£42 room only or £52 B&B); or double rooms at WYNG Gardens on Thompson's Lane (available as single or double occupancy and room only or B&B ranging from £70-£120). Please note that accommodation is not available on Friday 30th June.
