Dining Hall refurbishment complete
Last month saw the opening of our newly refurbished dining hall, complete with new portrait.  The hall has had underfloor heating and a PA system installed, as well as a new colour, new flooring and chairs to replace the benches.  We followed progress of the works online.  Professor Martin Daunton's portrait was unveiled on the opening night. New Master announced
Earlier this year we announced that The Revd Dr Jeremy Morris MA DPhil FRHistS has been elected to succeed Professor Martin Daunton as Trinity Hall's 44th Master, and will take up his role in October 2014. Dr Morris is currently Dean, Fellow, and Director of Studies in Theology at King’s College, Cambridge.  He held the position of Dean at Trinity Hall from 2001-2010. Read more
Alumni & Development Office changes

There have also been changes to the staff in the Development Office.  Mary Richmond is now Acting PA to the Master.  We welcome Rabia Dada, a graduate of Darwin College, as our new Development Officer and Emma Bennett will be joining us as the Office Administrator from the end of the month. Our tenth telephone campaign will be starting later this month.  All those who may be called will have received a letter in advance from the Master. 

Boathouse planning permission granted

Building work continues as we have recently been granted planning permission to refurbish and extend the boathouse.   The plans include a new workshop, updated changing facilities, an office space and much improved training facilities.  If support from former THBC members is sufficient then a second phase will enable the construction of a rowing tank. Read more
