WYNG Gardens underway

Trinity Hall's building projects continue.  With phases 1 and 2 of the Boathouse complete, attention now turns to the refurbishment of the Master's Lodge and the building of WYNG Gardens on Thompson's Lane.  The summer began with the announcement of the findings of the archaeological survey Read more

In recent weeks the basement for the four-storey building has taken shape and the timber frame will be erected shortly. At the start of November a tower crane appeared onsite. Read more

WYNG Gardens will provide 72 en-suite student rooms and a seminar space and we aim to have the building ready for students in October 2016

The opening of the Stephen Hawking Room
 

On 17th October we were delighted to invite Professor Stephen Hawking (1962) back to College to name a seminar room in his honour.  Students on Latham Lawn welcomed him as he arrived and Fellows took part in a reception in the room. Read more

Professor Hawking went on to address the audience at King's College Chapel who had gathered for the launch of the University's £2 Billion Campaign.

Look out for the Trinity Hall Review which will be posted to you in the next few weeks.  The Review contains reports from College sports team and societies; updates from the College Officers about the last academic year and news from alumni.

We are pleased to launch a new Alumni Photo Competition for 2015/16 and you are invited to take part. We are looking for high-resolution images which capture the theme of ‘My relationship with Trinity Hall’. These might be photos of a return visit to College, your time as a student or images which encapsulate what the College means to you, but be creative! There will also be a video competition for a short film of 1-3 minutes depicting "what Trinity Hall means to me".  Prizes are on offer,  The competition runs until the end of April 2016.  Further details.

We will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the admission of women from 2016-2018.  A survey has been sent to alumnae but if you have any suggestions for how to mark the celebration, do get in touch.
